Tattoo Aftercare
Thank you for your trust and for choosing us to create a piece of art that will be with you forever!
It is your responsibility to care for your new tattoo while it is healing to prevent contracting any form of infection, which may cause a need for a touch-up.
Please note that the artist has the right to refuse a free touch-up if the artist identifies negligent aftercare practices on your part.
Saniderm Instructions:
Leave the clear film bandage (Hypafix) on for 1-3 days. After you remove the saniderm bandage in a warm shower, vigorously wash the tattooed area with a mild unscented pure soap twice daily to avoid any lymphatic fluid drying on the surface of the tattooed area. Always pat dry with a low pile clean towel. 5-7 days following removal of the bandage, you may begin to use an unscented lotion (that you have used on your skin before) use lightly and gently rub in until the lotion disappears.
* Watch out for signs of infection, such as discharge, redness, and pain. Contact your physician if redness continues for more than 24 hours after the tattoo appointment. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact us !
